How to update the payment method associated with my ongoing subscription?

 

Have you purchased a Club subscription

 

  1. I want to change the payment method linked to this subscription payment
    If you’ve purchased the Club Subscription, there’s no way to change the payment method (from PayPal to credit card or vice-versa), unless you join a new Club. However, consider that the Club subscription price options might have changed and the plan you have subscribed might no longer exist. Please, refer to this page to read more about the current Club subscription plan available.

  2. Update your credit card information for YITH Club Subscription (paid with CREDIT CARD)
    You can do that in the Saved cards section . Yet, if the subscription started before 7 July 2016, there’s no way to do that. Please, submit a ticket to ask for more help from our technicians or contact us at support@yithemes.com

  3. Update your credit card information for YITH Club Subscription (paid with PAYPAL)

Have you purchased one or more plugins individually?

 

  1. Change payment method linked to this subscription payment (paid with CREDIT CARD)  
    Remove your card information in the Saved cards section  and you’ll see ALL your subscriptions’ auto-renew option switch to OFF on this page


    01.jpgThen, click on the auto-renew toggle button to reactivate the subscriptions, and you’ll be asked to enter your new payment details.

    Once you’ve updated your payment details, ALL your subscriptions’ auto-renew option will be back to ON.

  2. Change payment method linked to this subscription payment (paid with PAYPAL)
    This is only possible if your subscription is still active. So, if this is the case, you might need to revoke the authorization from your PayPal account and then, you will be able to choose a new payment method for your subscription.
    First of all, remove the authorization as explained in this article [https://www.paypal.com/lu/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-cancel-an-automatic-payment-i-have-with-a-merchant-faq2058], and then you will be able to see your auto-renew option in /my-subscription to OFF. Click on it to switch it back to ON and you will be able to choose a new payment method, either card or a different PayPal account.
    Please, note that if you revoke the authorization to the company on PayPal, all your subscriptions’ auto-renew option will be set to OFF, so you will have to switch them all back to ON.

  3. Change credit card or update existing card details:
    You can do that in in the Saved cards section
