My Club price will be increased - FAQs

Have you received an email informing you about your Club subscription price increase? Do you still have doubts about what to expect? Below you find a few FAQs that may help. 

I have updated my Club subscription payment details as required but I got an email from PayPal about the cancelled subscription. What went wrong? 

No worries, nothing wrong with it. You had to take action and confirm you accept the price change by clicking on the "Update subscription" button. If you completed this action, you have also updated your PayPal payment details: your old subscription in PayPal has been cancelled and replaced with a new billing agreement, that's why you got an email from PayPal about a cancelled subscription. You can simply ignore that email.  

Anyway, if you want to be 100% sure of your subscription status, you can always refer to what you see in your reserved area > My subscriptions. If you see the "Auto-renew" button set to ON after you completed the action like in the screenshot below, you can be sure that everything is correct.

I haven't taken action in time, what happens now? 

If you received an email that required you to take action and confirm the new price, but you did not do that within the 30-day timeframe provided, your subscription has been cancelled. You can still get access to your plan until the expiry date that you see in your reserved area > My subscriptions, but after that date you will lose access to the plan.  

The new price I see in the email is different from what I see when I update the subscription. How can it be? 

The price you see in the email is VAT excluded (you will read in fact "excl. VAT" after the price). 

VAT will be calculated based on your country (and if applicable) only when you update the subscription in your reserved area: here you will see the final price including VAT. 

I get an error when I try to add a new card for the Club subscription payment, what can I do? 

If you are having issues setting your new card, try the following: go to My Account > Account Settings > Manage Cards and add your card here. Then, go back to My subscriptions, click on the "Update subscription" button and select the card you've just saved. 

If this does not work either, please, verify with your bank if the card is enabled for international payments and that it does not have any limitations related to recurring payments. 

What happens to the plugins I have installed if I do not update the subscription? 

Even if you do not accept the price change by updating your subscription, your Club license key is valid until the subscription expiry date that you can see in your reserved area > My subscriptons. Until that date, you will be able to use the products as usual.  

After that date, however, your subscription and license key expire, and you will no longer be able to access to product downloads, updates, support and specific features of some plugins.
